Terms and conditions of use

These Referral Program Terms and Conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) outline the rules and guidelines for participating in the Auto Selection Referral Program (“Program”). The Program allows existing vehicle owners who have purchased a vehicle from Sime Darby Auto Selection Limited (“Auto Selection”) (“Referrers”) to refer their friends or acquaintances (“Referees”) to purchase a vehicle from Auto Selection and earn vouchers as a reward. By participating in the Program, Referrers and Referees agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

The Auto Selection referral platform and its related rewards will be governed by the following criteria, processes, and compliance rules, where applicable:-

Eligibility Criteria for Referrers: The Program is open only to individuals who are at least 18 years old, legally resident in Singapore and, at the time of making a referral, are the registered owners of a vehicle purchased directly from Auto Selection (each, an “Eligible Referrer”). Auto Selection may require documentary proof of eligibility and may reject any referral where such proof is not provided to its satisfaction.
Exclusion of Internal Personnel: Employees, officers, directors, contractors, agents and representatives of Auto Selection, its related corporations and service providers, and their immediate family members, are not eligible to participate in the Program unless Auto Selection expressly agrees otherwise in writing.
Eligibility Criteria for Referees: A Referee must not be an existing customer or vehicle owner of Auto Selection, must not have previously purchased a vehicle from Auto Selection, and must not, before the referral is recorded, have made an enquiry, booked a test drive, received a quotation, placed a reservation or order, paid any deposit, or otherwise been recorded in Auto Selection’s systems as a prospective customer. Auto Selection’s records shall be conclusive for determining whether a Referee is eligible.
Effective Program Timeline: Eligible Referrers will only receive the reward if the referral was on or after 1st September 2026. Only referrals received and successfully recorded by Auto Selection through a designated referral method on or after the Commencement Date are eligible. A referral is deemed received only when Auto Selection issues an acknowledgement or otherwise records it in its systems.
Submission Channel and Rules: Referrers must submit their referrals through the official Auto Selection referral portal or any other designated referral method provided by Auto Selection before the Referee first contacts Auto Selection or is recorded in Auto Selection’s systems. Referrals made through any other channel or submitted after the Referee’s first contact with Auto Selection, will not qualify.
Accuracy of Tracking Information: Referrers should provide accurate and complete information about themselves and their Referees to ensure proper tracking and reward allocation. Referrers may refer multiple individuals to Auto Selection, subject to compliance with these Terms and Conditions.
Priority of Duplicate Submissions: Where more than one person refers the same Referee, only the first valid referral recorded in Auto Selection’s systems will qualify. Auto Selection may determine the successful Referrer based on its records, and its determination shall be final.
Binding Referee Transaction Requirements: To qualify, the Referee must, within the period specified by Auto Selection, enter into a binding vehicle sale agreement directly with Auto Selection for an eligible vehicle, make full payment of all amounts due, take delivery of the vehicle, and not cancel, rescind or otherwise reverse the transaction. Auto Selection may determine which vehicles, sales channels and promotions are eligible or excluded from the Program.
Exclusion of Referee Personnel: A Referee must not be an employee, officer, director, contractor, agent or representative of Auto Selection or any of its related corporations, authorised dealers or service providers, or an immediate family member of any such person, unless Auto Selection expressly agrees otherwise in writing.
Reward Structures and Limitations: Subject to these Terms and Conditions and successful verification by Auto Selection, an Eligible Referrer will receive S$300 worth of NTUC Vouchers for each Referee who completes a qualifying purchase. Service credits are subject to Auto Selection’s prevailing service credit terms and conditions. Unless Auto Selection expressly agrees otherwise, service credits are personal to the Referrer, non-transferable, non-refundable, not redeemable or exchangeable for cash or any other benefit, cannot be combined with other promotions, and must be used before any expiry date notified by Auto Selection. Any unused balance will be forfeited upon expiry without compensation.
Right to Vary Reward Conditions: Auto Selection may vary the nature, value, availability, validity period or conditions of any reward at any time in its sole discretion. Any variation will apply from the effective date determined by Auto Selection, including to referrals that have not been verified as successful by that date, and no participant will be entitled to compensation as a result.
Verification and Disqualification Rights: All referrals and rewards are subject to verification and approval by Auto Selection. Auto Selection may request supporting information, reject or disqualify any referral, withhold or reverse any reward, and determine all questions relating to eligibility, attribution, compliance and fulfilment. Auto Selection’s decision shall be final and binding.
Fulfillment Timeline and Delays: If a referral is verified as successful, Auto Selection will issue the applicable redemption communication or allocate the service credits to Referrers within a reasonable period, which should be within 3 months after the Referee has taken delivery of the vehicle and all applicable conditions have been satisfied. Auto Selection may withhold fulfilment while any eligibility, payment, cancellation or compliance issue remains under review. Auto Selection is not responsible for any delays or errors in the allocation of service credits due to inaccurate, incomplete or outdated information provided by the Referrer.
Legal Compliance and Indemnity: Each participant must comply with all applicable laws and regulations and must not engage in misleading, aggressive, unlawful or unauthorised marketing, make any representation or warranty on behalf of Auto Selection, or hold themselves out as Auto Selection’s agent. Each participant indemnifies and holds Auto Selection and its related corporations, officers, employees and agents harmless against all losses, liabilities, claims, costs and expenses arising from that participant’s breach of these Terms and Conditions, unlawful conduct or unauthorised representation. Any fraudulent, deceptive, or dishonest activity in connection with the Program may result in disqualification and may be subject to legal action.
Personal Data Protection Consent: Referrer represents and warrants that, before submitting a referral, the Referrer had informed the Referee that the Referrer intends to disclose the Referee’s personal data to Auto Selection for the participation and administration of the Program and for collection, use and disclosure in accordance with Auto Selection’s Privacy Policy, and had obtained the Referee’s valid consent for such purposes. The Referrer must not provide personal data relating to any person who has not given such consent and must, upon request, provide evidence of the consent to Auto Selection.
Exclusion of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Auto Selection excludes all representations, warranties and conditions not expressly stated in these Terms and Conditions and will not be liable to any participants for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of opportunity or loss of goodwill arising out of or in connection with the Program. Auto Selection’s aggregate liability to any participant in connection with the Program will not exceed the value of the service credits claimed by that participant.

Clauses in this policy may continue to apply even in situations where your relationship with us (for example, pursuant to a contract) has been terminated or altered in any way, for a reasonable period thereafter (including, where applicable, a period to enable us to enforce our rights under any contract with you).

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Program, in whole or in part, at any time and for any reason, without prior notice. In the event of such modifications, suspensions, or terminations, Auto Selection will make reasonable efforts to notify participants.
